I like that you can bring in your own licensed contractor for claims, but I was most impressed with the customer service and fast reimbursement. And everybody’s just so friendly, taking the time to explain everything! The first time was in violation of the policy given to me when I first paid. AFC, although it is not written, decided my HVAC repair did was not worth it. When neither of us were able to find where that is written, they changed their mind and said the component wasn't covered.
So, I picked one and then their people contacted me and said that they were selecting one and I’m like, “Wait a minute, no.” I didn’t get that idea. The technician that came out was absolutely terrific. He contacted the home people, he got his money right away, which was fantastic to know that the person doing the work isn’t held up for payments for months and/or anything like that.
